Meet four technicians who helped make VASEY the #1 Workplace in 2014!
John Stahley
John Stahley has been with VASEY for 24 years. He primarily works on project installations involving roof-top units, refrigerant, copper, exhaust duct work and sheet metal applications. He also helps service technicians with maintenance on HVAC units. John enjoys working at VASEY because “he gets to work with a great group of talented guys that get along and work well together.” |

When not at work, you will find John watching IU basketball or Notre Dame Football with his wife Leann (married 32 years); three sons (Tyler, Zach, and Drew) and four grandchildren (Treygan, Addyson, Kynlie, and Grady). His favorite activities are fishing, spending time with his grand kids and attending their sporting events, watching football and eating pizza. John grew up in the Beech Grove area and now lives in Waverly (Mooresville), Indiana.
Jim Davis
Meet Jim Davis. Jim has been an HVACR Service Technician with VASEY for 16 years. He’s known for being both professional and courteous as well as the ultimate problem solver. Jim’s expertise includes diagnosing and repairing problems on commercial heating, ventilation, cooling and refrigeration-type equipment.

In addition to commercial services, Jim has also worked with restaurant kitchen equipment and appliances. Jim shares, “I always enjoy Bill Vasey’s talks that he gives during our company meetings; they are inspirational. I’ve always been impressed with his generosity and how he has built such a great company.”
Jim has a variety of outside interests. Besides family, Jim enjoys motorcycles (riding and tinkering) and guns (buying, shooting and collecting). Having spent part of his childhood in southern Mississippi, Jim loves anything spicy or fried; especially, shrimp gumbo and southern-style cooking. When not busy with family, Jim enjoys watching football and cross-country dirt bike racing as well as listening to bluegrass music.
Scott McBride
Meet Scott McBride. Scott, an HVAC Service Technician, has worked for VASEY for almost 17 years. His responsibilities include maintenance, service, installation and repairs for HVAC – commercial and residential. Scott’s most memorable moment, “Mr. Vasey selling the company to the employees – showing everyone that he cares about the future of his employees.”

Scott’s outside interests include fishing, hunting, and camping. He has two pets: a dog (Max) and a cat (Mittens). Scott shares that everything he learned he learned from his beautiful wife (who was sitting next to him at the time of the interview). That comment should earn him a few brownie points! Scott is a native Hoosier. He grew up on the west side of Indianapolis.
Kevin McDonald
Kevin McDonald is an HVAC Service Technician and he has been with VASEY for 12 years. His responsibilities include repair and maintenance on residential and commercial HVAC equipment. Kevin’s favorite moments at VASEY revolve around past company picnics and softball games. |

Kevin is married with two children and a dog. His two favorite things are chili and Indianapolis Colts football. He considers himself to be “an open book” – what you see is what you get. He has mastered his skills through on-the-job training and ITT Technical Institute. Something you might not know about Kevin is that he spent his teen years growing up in Florida.
