Meet Bill Hinds, our Service Manager, who grew up on a farm in Effingham, Illinois. Bill’s been with VASEY for three years and he is responsible for hiring, operations, and COVID-19 protocol. Bill is always the first person to volunteer at our community service projects. His most memorable moment, working at the Outside the Box Learning Center/Charity located in Indianapolis.
Bill openly shares he joined the VASEY team because everyone is transparent, honest, and real. His favorite aspect about his work – he has the power to do what is right – always. Decisions are not driven by how much money is made or lost. Rather, it’s more about taking care of customers. The buck stops with Bill when it comes to responsibility. He describes the corporate culture as positive, empowering, and professional.
When Bill isn’t at VASEY, he has a wide variety of interests which include shooting, riding quads (four-wheelers), playing guitar, and being with family.
Bill’s family consists of three adult children, Evan (24), Olivia (25), and Makenzie (32). He must like things in three’s because he has three pets too – Willow (Golden Retriever), Apollo (Golden Doodle), and Dexter (cat).
Bill’s perfect evening would be eating fillet while watching a football game or listening to B.B. King. Besides the fact that “Get Shorty” is his favorite movie, you might also be surprised to learn he plays the drums in addition to the guitar.
Thanks, Bill for all that you do!
