By installing a Bipolar Ionization (BI) or Ultraviolet Light Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI) system within your HVAC system, you can reduce or even eliminate airborne particles such as bacteria, virus cells, mold, allergens, odors, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). What is Bipolar Ionization (BI) Technology? Bipolar Ionization technology produces a natural bio-climate rich in positive and negative ions much like sunlight does in the atmosphere. The negative ions contain an extra electron while the positive ions are missing an electron resulting in an unstable condition. To re-stabilize, these bipolar ions seek out atoms and molecules in the air to trade electrons with, effectively neutralizing particulate matter, bacteria and virus cells, odorous gases and aerosols, and VOCs. What is Ultraviolet Germicidal Irradiation (UVGI)? As radiation, Ultraviolet (UV) [...]
Toyota Industrial Equipment has been a VASEY service and project customer since 2011. The Toyota’s server room cooling system connected to production ceased operation. Consequently, the server was overheating. If left unattended the server would crash and production would come to a halt. VASEY received an emergency service call in the middle of the night. With VASEY’s 24/7/365 service operation and highly skilled technicians, the server room cooling system was repaired with no adverse effect to production. By the next morning, VASEY had the cooling system up and running. More importantly, manufacturing and production kept running without any interruptions.
Recently, VASEY Commercial Facility Solutions hosted a Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (RSES) meeting at a client’s facility, Modular Devices, Inc. Modular Devices manufactures mobile Cath and CT lab units which are available to rent or purchase. Cleanroom Design LLC is an industry expert in cleanroom consultation, design, engineering, construction and installation of turnkey cleanroom applications. The portable labs (manufactured by Modular Devices) require state-of-the-art technology and health-protecting equipment to fit into a small footprint. The 50 million-dollar question, what’s the best way to heat, cool, and purify the environment while maximizing energy efficiencies? Oh, by the way, it must be done in a lab unit that’s 65 feet long by 8.5 feet wide ̶ maximum ̶ the same size as a semi-trailer. By leveraging [...]
Free Methodist Church/World Ministry Center has been a VASEY service and project customer since 2014. They have struggled with their building for years – rising utility and maintenance costs with little to no increase in performance. Another service provider couldn’t provide any solutions for their past and present issues. Over a series of multiple service calls, one of VASEY’s highly skilled, trained and experienced technicians analyzed the existing system and increased the power circuit from 70 to 100 percent. Additionally, VASEY performed several retrofits and upgrades without replacing the core system. VASEY could have capitalized on an unneeded and expensive retrofit. That wasn’t in Free Methodist’s best interest. VASEY continued to support their existing 20-year-old equipment. Simply by bringing the existing system up to maximum [...]

Bill Estes Chevrolet has been a VASEY service and project customer for 20+ years. Over the years, the dealership has made various changes to their facility. By eliminating a large awning and removing window tint from their showroom windows a significant increase in heat load was created. Due to a long-term relationship with the Bill Estes, VASEY volunteered to redesign the ductwork and make modifications to the existing system to accommodate the dealer’s changes. VASEY revamped the ductwork, relocated grills and diffusers and enlarged the ductwork for increased airflow at no cost to the dealership. This was certainly a plus for future heating and cooling upgrades and revisions. At VASEY, we strive to go above and beyond the norm, and we stand behind our products [...]
Pioneer Hybrid, an agribusiness, had a traveling progress show. Due to the extensive summer heat, air conditioning for the tents was an absolute necessity. In order maintain a cool temperature in the tents, the cost for Pioneer Hybrid to rent the AC (Air Conditioning) equipment exceeded $100,000 per event. VASEY designed a system that could be erected for each event and then disassembled and stored in a trailer when not in use. The system could then be transported to each event and assembled on site over and over again, negating the need for renting equipment. VASEY provided a $150,000.00 one-time solution. With VASEY’s portable and storable system, the agribusiness’ costs were reduced from $100,000 per event to $35,000 per event – a significant payback that’s [...]
