With over 30 years in the HVAC industry, Tim Clapper brings deep field expertise and leadership to his role as Project Field Supervisor at VASEY. He joined the company in 2003 as a Project Installer and transitioned into his current role in 2022. In this position, Tim works closely with VASEY’s sales team to review project scopes, offer installation insights, and recommend smarter, more efficient ways to complete tasks. He also assigns jobs to installers, manages daily schedules, assists with materials, addresses jobsite questions, and plays an active role on the safety team. In addition, he supports metal duct and fittings fabrication in VASEY’s shop.

Tim launched his HVAC career in 1993 and spent years traveling across 27 different states installing HVAC systems in a wide range of buildings. This hands-on experience gave him a strong foundation in field operations, adaptability, and problem-solving—skills he continues to apply every day at VASEY.

A lifelong resident of Fountain Square, a historic neighborhood just southeast of downtown Indianapolis, Tim takes pride in his roots and the close-knit community he calls home. When he’s not working, he stays busy with home improvement projects, helping friends and family, and racing R/C cars. He also shares his home with two energetic Boxers who keep him on his toes.

One of Tim’s proudest accomplishments came recently—years in the making. After graduating from plumbing school in 2019, he intended to take his journeyman plumber’s exam the following winter. But then COVID hit. A year passed, followed by a neck surgery, a transition out of the field, and eventually a back surgery. Despite the setbacks, Tim stayed committed to the goal. In February 2024—six years later—he finally sat for the test and passed. Today, he is officially a Journeyman Plumber.

When asked what he enjoys most about his work, Tim points to the variety, the challenge, and the opportunity to support others. His three-word career summary? Reliable. Experienced. Dedicated. Whether he’s solving problems on a job site or lending a hand at home, Tim’s approach is simple: show up, get it done, and do it right.

Tim is a tremendous asset to the VASEY team—respected for his experience, work ethic, and willingness to help wherever needed. Congratulations, Tim, on officially becoming a Journeyman Plumber!
