VASEY was proud to serve as a contributing sponsor for Sycamore School’s Girls’ STEAM Conference earlier this year.
The event gives middle school girls the opportunity to explore science, technology, engineering, arts, and math through hands-on workshops and interaction with women working in a variety of professional fields. Participants are introduced to career paths in areas such as engineering, coding, healthcare, veterinary medicine, and other STEAM-related disciplines.
This year’s conference also included sessions focused on skilled trades, construction, and other hands-on professions. For VASEY, this was especially meaningful. As a company rooted in mechanical systems, HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, building automation, and facility solutions, VASEY understands the importance of helping young people see the value, opportunity, and long-term career potential within technical and skilled trades.
